Name:
Susie Fazzio
When you started in TRIgirl: February 19, 2008
Why
you TRIgirl:
I joined TRIgirl to network with other women who have the same interest as me. I have wanted a road bike for years but did not want to make the investment if I did not have friends to enjoy the ride. I hope to make many friends. :)
Your family (or with whom do you reside?):
I am divorced and have a wonderful, relaxed, warm and loving home with my fifteen year old daughter Courtney and our cat Lucky. Lucky is a rescued cat that loves me unconditionally.
What
do you do for work?
I am a customer service manager for a tool company. I have a fun and hardworking group that makes me smile.
The best meal you cook:
I make a really good pot roast. Nothing fancy but very yummy I am told.
What you'll be seen wearing most frequently:
Jeans with boots and a t-shirt.
Favorite quote:
“God does not give us more than we can handle." (Really he doesn't.)
What you are reeading now?
I just finished Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet In Heaven.
Current favorite CD or IPOD download:
David Gray's CD, White Ladder .
Something you have accomplished in your life that
you thought you could/would have not been able
to do (not triathlon):
I got a second chance at life. I ended an unhappy marriage I had stayed in trying to be a ‘good' mother. I am so happy now enjoying life's simple pleasures. What I thought would destroy my daughter has actually transformed her into an amazing, confident and happy teen' I have also found someone to share my life with that loves the goofy not perfect me.
Your indulgences:
Coors Light.
Goals for next season:
Complete a half marathon without walking and completing an open water sprint triathlon.
Favorite race and why:
The Battlefield half marathon 2005. I was in the best shape I have been. I was new to running and it was euphoric. It ROCKED I want that feeling again.
